As the name suggests, it is strictly pancakes, the 1st dedicated pancake cafe in Singapore. It is located directly opposite POMO.
Exterior
As shown in the picture, Strictly Pancakes occupy 2 levels. Customers can choose to sit either at level 1 or level 2 or outside. But if you are sitting outside, you might be missed out by the staff (who are all youngsters). As when we were there, there were a couple sitting outside and they had to come inside to get the menu as no one noticed them.

Maple Syrup
2 Signature Pancakes $5.50 with Sauteed Mushrooms $2.50
Ordered 2 Signature Pancakes with Sauteed Mushrooms. The total cost for this is$8.00. Wow, not for the taste but for the price. Can’t help but ask does 2 pancake cost so much? It taste like normal pancakes! Even mcdonalds’ pancake is cheaper and gives 3 pancakes. The only difference is that Strictly Pancake’s pancakes are thicker than Mddonald’s. Despite the cost, there was a sliver lining.. the Sauteed Mushrooms. It was delicious, with black pepper seasoned around it.
Potatoes Leeking Cheese $12
Again, I feel that this is certainty not value for money. The difference is that the pancake in this case was ‘stuffed with Potatoes, Cheese and Leek’, as taken from their website. Well, stuff is really the wrong word. It should be pieces of Potatoes, Cheese and Leek are added into the pancakes. Seriously nothing fantastic about the taste and its too costly.
Oh yes, I almost forget to mention the Maple Syrup and Garlic + Herbal Butter are a thumbs up!
It is unlikely that I will be going back again, trying the concept/experience once is enough. It is really too expensive. Totally not value for money. I would rather spend the money elsewhere or go for mcdonalds if I really wants to eat pancakes.
