Gong Cha (贡茶)

Gong Cha, another bubble tea player from Taiwan has come to our shore. Gong Cha has two outlets currently in Novena and City Square.

Gong Cha

1 side for ordering, the other for collecting

Went to Gong Cha at novena, there was about 3 person queuing in front of me. Much lesser than KOI maybe because it is a weekday at 330pm. Queue at one side to order, then collect at another side.

Take note of the extra options. For example, adding of pearls will required an extra 30cents unlike KOI which is free. Similarly to KOI, you can choose your own sweetness level.

Instructions on how to drink

Gong Cha Milk Alisan Tea ($2.40) with Pearls ($0.30)

Ordered Gong Cha Milk Alisan Tea ($2.40) with Pearls ($0.30). Cheaper than KOI.

The pearls was forgettable. KOI’s pearls were more firm, bouncy and nicer to me. I thought I mixed the milk on top. But after drinking till the bottom part, I realised it was all milk. I did not mix it well enough. This is nothing like KOI, totally different. But for me I will still prefer KOI followed by Gong Cha.  But I will still be trying Gong Cha again for other flavours and mix the milk with tea well if I happen to go pass the shop. Maybe I will find something I like.

  2. I think that with a paging system, long queues would be non-existent and people would no longer have to waste time queuing for the drinks, one of the main reason that I do not often buy Gong Cha.

  9. Aw, this was a really good post. Spending some time
and actual effort to produce a top notch article… but what can I say…
I hesitate a whole lot and don’t manage to get nearly anything done.

  10. I am curious to find out what blog system you happen
to be working with? I’m having some small security problems with my latest website and I’d
like to find something more risk-free. Do you have any solutions?
